One video

Although short and without sound this is the only recorded video ever made of Mark Twain. Made in 1909 it was filmed by one of Mark Twain's closest friends Thomas Edison. The video gives us a rare insight of the life of Mark Twain and manages to tell us a bit how he was like as a person by just looking at his appearnce in the film.

Women's rights

This lecture given by Mark Twain defiantly shows one of his political stand points firmly. Mark Twain was for women's rights and believed as each black white or any other man is equall to each other women should also.

Imperialst turned anti- imperialst

Another one of Mark Twain's lectures this one is about how Mark Twain used think it was good for America to colonize countries but as he grew older departured from the idea and turned anti-imperialist. This is another important one of Mark Twain's important opinions. Opinions like these led him also to be anti-war and write the poem O'Lord Our Father.
